Located in Taipei City's Zhongshan District, the main Hsing Tian Kong is an oasis of calm worship in the midst of one of Asia’s major cities. The faithful come here daily to worship, participate in spiritual cleansing ‘shoujing’ rituals, draw divination lots, and to seek inner peace.
The Beitou Branch of the Hsing Tian Kong and its modern, new library, lies at the foot of the Zhongyi Mountain to the northwest of Taipei, a short train ride from the city center to the Zhongyi MRT metro station. The hill behind the Beitou Branch features a trail meandering up to the summit of Zhongyi Mountain which overlooks Taipei and its environs. It is a peaceful environment, almost like a place of worship crafted by nature itself.
The Hsing Tian Kong Sanxia branch temple is located in the Sanxia District to the southwest of Taipei upon the slopes of Baiji Mountain. Besides its natural beauty, impressive architecture, and spacious landscaped grounds, the Sanxia temple is also noteworthy as the place where Master Hsuan Kung launched his career from scratch, and provided financial assistance and medicine to those in need.
