Culture The Main Library and Beitou Branch of Hsing Tian Kong Master Hsuan Kung Library, both inaugurated in 1978, were renovated in 1999. These two libraries have a collection of 300,000 volumes. The Main Library programs regular series, such as lectures on spiritual growth and artistic performances. Songjiang Branch (Hsing Tian Kong Master Hsuan Kung Memorial Institute), was renovated and re-opened in 2008. It provides courses for religious learning and moral education courses. Hsing Tian Kong Parent-Child Library, Zhognshan Branch, was in augurated in 2013. It is a special library for preschoolers and parents.
